Elder Signs- a fast-paced, cooperative dice game of supernatural intrigue for one to eight players by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson, the designers of Arkham Horror. Players take the roles of investigators racing against time to stave off the imminent return of the Ancient One. Armed with tools, allies, and occult knowledge, investigators must put their sanity and stamina to the test as they adventure to locate Elder Signs, the eldritch symbols used to seal away the Ancient Ones and win the game.

Key points: This 1-8 cooperative game is great for those wanting to expand into the cooperative field. With a game lasting 1-2 hours, it’s going to be a filling game. Flavored with your favorite Lovecraft mythos. A great addition to the Silver Line Collection by Fantasy Flight Games.

Based on the award-winning graphic novel series published by Archaia Studio Press and utilizing the Burning Wheels rules system, the Mouse Guard Roleplaying Game Box Set contains everything players need to immerse themselves into a world where mice struggle to live safely and prosper amongst harsh conditions and a host of predators and hidden dangers. DC Comic Relaunch and You!

On Tuesday, May 31st, 2011, DC Comics announced that they will be renumbering ALL superhero titles. It’s not a reboot, it’s more a platform for reinventing the direction of each character. The first of these titles will be Justice League, featuring an all-star team.

So what caused this?

A lot of changes are going to happen because of the summer blockbuster Flashpoint, a world where the speedster Flash never existed. August 31^st will herald a new age in DC Comics seeing the release of Flashpoint #5 and JLA #1.

So how does this affect you, the average reader, or the dabbler?

Well, it’s the perfect jumping on point for any title you’ve ever been interested in. Every issue is to feel like a number one, a place to start reading the heroes or villains you’ve heard about. Whether it be Superman or Deathstroke.
